FRAMING

The Revsin Picture Frame Manufacturing Company has been a family-owned business since 1929. Prior to our ownership, Revsin merged with David Spitz Framing, which originated in 1889, and was formerly located at 140 N. 12th Street. We have been at our present location, 911 Arch Street, for well over twenty-five years. During this time, we have had the privilege of serving many individuals and businesses in the Delaware Valley and surrounding areas. Our clients include the Hard Rock Café International, Blinding Edge Pictures, the Philadelphia Film Office, Mercy Health Systems, Belmont Comprehensive Treatment Center, Pennsylvania Hospital, Dupont Hospital for Children, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Thomas Jefferson Hospital, and various branches of the U.S. Government, including the Environmental Protection Agency, the Federal Reserve Bank, the U.S. District Court, and the Philadelphia International Airport, among many others.

We have a very large inventory, with over 200,000 feet of picture frame molding in stock and over 2000 molding samples to choose from. These include wood, metal and mica frames, as well as hand-carved gilt and gold leaf frames. This selection can be further custom-finished to suit your personal needs. We carry both premium and museum-quality mat boards. To ensure the largest possible variety of colors, Crescent, Bainbridge and Tru-View mat boards are used. All framing is done on the premises by expert, experienced craftsmen with complete attention given to detail, regardless of size or cost. Although our specialty is archival matting and framing, we also handle a wide range of commercial grade inventory. As always, all our custom picture framing is guaranteed for life.

For your convenience, Revsin Picture Framing also provides art consultation services, to assist you with the selection, placement, and installation of artwork within your home or facility. One of our specialties is the custom framing, matting, and glasswork for ketubahs and bat- and bar-mitzvah certificates. We feature original designs by Sivia Katz; samples of our work are on display at the National Museum of American Jewish History on 5th Street in Philadelphia and at Bala Judaica in Bala Cynwyd.
